Attention Stantonsburg Water Customers
The Stantonsburg Town Council would like to inform you that it has decided to cease the addition of fluoride to the town’s drinking water, effective May 1, 2025. This change will specifically impact customers in Stantonsburg.
This decision was made after careful consideration of the high costs involved in adding fluoride, the naturally occurring fluoride present in our water source, and the accessibility of fluoride in various oral care products.
We understand that you may have questions or concerns about this change. Please feel free to reach out to Town Hall at 252-238-3608. We are dedicated to providing you with the necessary information and support. Thank you for your understanding.
Roger Sullivan is our Utilities Superintendent working mainly in the Water and Sewer department, while expanding his duties throughout other departments. Alongside of Roger is Lonnie Smith, our utility assistant. Our new employee, Landon Price has joined the team to keep their department running smoothly. They work hard to keep our water and sewer department running and maintaining any major concerns or leaks. If you see them out and about, greet them kindly!
